SIX MONTHS ON, as the proud owners of a Pop Top Caravan, Jim and l would like to thank you for the time, effort and reassurance you have given us. We have appreciated the time that you have taken to show us the 'do's' and the 'don't do's that make our trips away so much more enjoyable.
Thank you for your prompt response and feedback too all our queries. It makes for great peace of mind each time we set off on our travels.

We brought our new 2018 206Ltd Flagstaff Pop Top Camper in December 2017, having sold our 1980 Sprite Munro pop-top after 12 years of happy camping.
The main reasons for purchasing the camper is we wanted something new with more space, and features, that can be used all year round. We also wanted to have the ability to tow a light weight camper around NZ, that is easy to store, easy to set up and put away, with plenty of indoor space and permanent beds set up while enjoying caravan comfort features.
We are so looking forward to many more years of happy camping and adventures in our new camper.
We would not hesitate in recommending purchasing a Flagstaff Pop Top Camper and the service we received from Lisa.

My wife & I had been looking for some time at all the options for a pop up camper and after visiting the Hamilton motorhome show we met Lisa and her husband from Pop Top Campers Ltd. After looking at all the options available and other makes we decided the Flagstaff Mac series 228D had the most room and accommodation. We finally purchased our 228D from Lisa in Dec 2014 and have had some fantastic holidays with it. We particularly love the spacious layout, dining room that slides out and out of the main thoroughfare area, great storage and ability to sleep 7 people. We have had some nasty weather with 5 adults inside for hours and it never felt crammed or claustrophobic. Also had a small tornado come through that destroyed several tents and an awning but the pop up just stayed totally intact and weather tight. We love the 228D.

“We’ve really enjoyed being out and about in our Flagstaff Mac 205 poptop camper this summer, despite the weather. Once we got all the requirements for towing sorted, we found it tows really well, and has provided very comfortable accommodation. It’s the perfect size for us. It is compact and convenient, but feels spacious. The little bathroom is great, and so is the screen room, and we have been warm and comfortable on some rough nights. We’ll be happy to keep using the camper well into the Autumn.”

We took delivery of our PopTopCamper in May 2014 and spent the Winter making a few modifications. Our first trip was 11th September 2014, and through the summer we spent 23 nights away at eight different places. Our two grandchildren were with us on 12 of those occasions. While we try to pick the nicest weather we have pitched camp in a brisk Southerly at Gore Bay, de-camped in the rain at Peel Forest, chilled out in five degrees at Wanaka and endured 36 hours of continuous Hokitika rain. We found the Camper was stable in the wind, dry in the rain and with careful use of the heater we stayed warm. On the very hot days we unzipped the many windows to keep cool. We think the pull-out dinette makes all the difference to the space inside, giving an open-plan feeling. We often eat at a small table under the awning adding to that camping feeling.
As a compromise the Camper ticks all the boxes. It is the crossover between the bulk of a caravan and a flimsy tent. It packs down to a size, weight and profile that is very easy to tow with my Suzuki 2.4L and the parking footprint in our back yard is small. Yet when expanded and setup there is a huge amount of space inside giving a feeling of luxury.
Please ask Lisa for a copy of my modifications document.

We would just like to say how we are enjoying our Flagstaff Pop Top. For a couple in our sixties, it is exceptionally easy to set up. The room inside is amazing, easy to prepare meals and comfortable beds, (no more air beds). We looked at purchasing a caravan, but with limited storage at home this fits in perfectly.

We are first time caravan users after several years in a tent which had seen better days. Looking at the market and various options for a family of 5, we realised that a pop-top was a great option that provided the space and versatility that we required.
The 228D model that we purchased from Lisa was perfect. They had our camper ready for us extremely quickly and helped us through the settling in period without complaint. After sales service has been fantastic – thanks!
We now sneak in weekend ”holiday” camping trips which was never an option with the tent, and are enjoying more family time at camp grounds around the North.

We bought our poptop camper to holiday in as a family of five. Our kids aged 3, 5 & 7 made the purchase of any caravan a well researched one and in the end, the decision to buy a poptop was the best we could have made. Over the three weeks this Christmas, we lived in the camper and everyone loved it and were sad when we had to pack up. The camper can be opened up so that it is always cool inside and the insect screens are a savour. The kids could do art and games at the table out of the elements which was great, and at night we folded down the table so everyone had their own comfortable bed which works really well for us. Indoor and outdoor cooking was easy and the extra awning setup gives even more space.
I would not hesitate to recommend the poptops to anyone for simple clean and stress free camping.

It has now been two summers since we purchased our Forest River 228D Flagstaff Mac Pop Top camper and we are now in a position to give an honest appraisal.
We visited the RV & Caravan show in 2013 to look at Caravans and all the options available after 20 years of camping in tents. We wanted a bit more luxury and protection in bad weather and we wanted something easy and quick to set up.
Although the caravans were as nice as we expected we were struggling to justify the size and price for something that was stored for half of the year. We then came across a competitor Pop Top which had all we were looking for and packed down to what was not much bigger than a large trailer. To us that was perfect for towing and storage.
We continued to look around and came across your Forest River Pop Top which impressed us even more. The layout and added benefit of a slide out Dining creates so much room and extra comfortable seating. That was enough to convince us to purchase.
We are a tall couple and we have no issue spending time in the camper. The beds are large and comfortable and the kitchen facilities along with plenty of storage make for perfect camping/ holiday accommodation. For something that folds away like it does, it is hard to believe it has so much room and so many features. Impressive and very practical.
Thanks for bringing these to NZ and thanks for the ongoing support.

To whom it may concern.
I purchased a pop top camper from Lisa earlier in the year. After looking at the options available on the market it was obvious that the
Flagstaff model was the best. It is extremely versatile. I have found it very easy to tow, it is simplicity to pitch and pack up. There is lots
of room with all of the conveniences of home in a mobile form. We have used it several times over the summer on various trips from
several days duration to overnight stops. My family and I have had no problems and the experience of camping in the Flagstaff has been
a pleasant and satisfying one. I would recommend a Flagstaff to anyone considering a pop top type camper, or instead of a conventional
caravan, simply for its convenience and the fact that you get more room and facilities than a caravan for your money.
